About

So, who am I?  First and foremost, I am a father to four wonderful children (who doesn't say that about their own children?).  Hopefully I am doing a good enough job to make my children better than me and, if I was honest about it, they already are, which is a source of pride for me.  My youngest is a mere seven weeks old, my eldest is going to be twelve this year (damn, time has just flown by).  It doesn't really matter how old they are, they will always be my 'bubs' which will doubtless be a source of embarrassment for them in later life - the advantage of being a parent I suppose!

There is already a page that displays some of my tinkering with photoshop, but I am also an avid fish keeper - cichlids from Central America are my preferred fish friends.  I find them to be very relaxing, relatively easy to keep and they all have unique characters that make them extremely interesting to watch.  They are very protective as parents, so I identify with them to a degree as well.

I also enjoy photography, although with the onset of disability, this has become increasingly difficult to undertake as a hobby - pain generally takes the enjoyment factor away.  Another thing I enjoy is motorsports - I used to combine this with photography but have to be content with just watching most of the time nowadays.
